We had a 45-50ft tree that would make a mess year round making it difficult to enjoy our yard. Greta was awesome and able to get me an estimate via email with photos included. We needed to have a tree removed. But we also needed the root ball fully removed so we could plant a new box tree in its place. These guys did an excellent job of removing the tree and the whole root system below ground. Other vendors we got quotes from would not remove the entire root ball. Rather they wanted to just grind the stump down 6". That would not work for our purposes. They always arrived on time at the agreed upon date for estimates and the work. Awesome Company! We hired Juan and his crew to trim several of our trees, remove a couple of stumps, and take down a large dead cottonwood tree. Juan, the owner, was responsive and knowledgeable. He was able to walk us through issues with the trees and what was needed. His quote was better than our previous trimmer, and he seemed to know more about each tree and their individual needs. He reached out after a cancellation and was able to get his crew out earlier than expected. The crew was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Chris, the site supervisor, kept my wife informed of everything they were doing and was very customer service oriented. Second time within 6 months AZ Tree and Landscape has done work for us. We had turf and pavers done both with front and backyard. They do a great job and we will continue to use them for future work. They even added steps outside the doggie door with turf inlaid in the middle of the pavers for my pooches. We didn't even ask for it or pay extra. Just small details they did on their own. We had used Juan & his crew a few years ago to remove a tree that was blown over after a monsoon storm. Back then they did such a wonderful job that I used them again today. Juan is now with this company & again, did an amazing job. Juan & Chris came out to give us an estimate & at that time explained everything step by step of what would happen & that’s exactly how it went. We had 2 very large & 1 smaller Sissoo trees removed & the stumps grinded down & poisoned. Juan & Chris, who I communicated with during the process were both very professional, knowledgeable, kind, went above & beyond what I ever expected. My backyard went from dirt and rocks to something my puppy and I can enjoy now. They are fair with their prices and use all the material that was purchased for the project in our yard. They worked efficiently and were fast to get started. They double-checked everything was the way we wanted it before getting started and again before placing it. We even got our trees up front pruned and the irrigation was replaced as well as a patio extension for my husband to grill on. Now we can enjoy taking the dog out. I have used AZ Tree and Hardscape, a number of times. They are always on time and priced fairly for the work I have asked them to perform. The tree I had them trim over the past two years, I had them finally remove it, it was a Sissoo Tree and that tree is very destructive to the water pipes and sewer system. They remove it, ground the stump down and place tree root killer on the stump. They will be back to inspect it and make sure the roots are not coming back. I plan to use them for all future projects. They are a little bit more expensive than other companies but the service makes it 100% worth it. I have used 3 other landscapers and trying to get a hold of them and get a price breakdown ahead of time is a nightmare. Last week, one of the trees (Willow Acacia) in my front yard almost toppled over during a monsoon storm. Because it was leaning toward the sidewalk, I was concerned it might fall at any time and considered it a safety hazard. Therefore, I called three different tree removal companies for estimates and AZ Tree and Hardscape Company was the only one to respond back to me the same day. Further, one of their Arborists (Juan) came out within a few hours of my initial call to assess the situation and he provided me with a reasonable price to cut down and remove my tree. We hired AZ Tree and Hardscape to remove a dangerously leaning Jacaranda tree and the stump. The entire process was very simple with the end result exceptional. The crew arrived exactly on time and performed the tree removal in choreographed measure. One person climbed the tree, dropped a rope and pulled up the chainsaw. The tree removal began at the top and soon the job was complete. Somebody wheeled in the stump grinder and soon that was complete too! My experience with this company was all good! They showed up literally right on time! They moved quickly but efficiently from tree to tree. They did not over trim. They removed all loose husks. Fertilized crowns and roots. And they left it’s so clean you couldn’t even tell other than the trees being trimmed that they were ever there. I was advised to contact an Arborist regarding my mature Pepper tree. There is brown leaves and branches look like the tree is not healthy and dying. I was not sure if the tree just needed more water. Per my conversation, with AZ Tree & Hardscape I was asked to take pictures of the tree and they would review before coming out in person. I hired AZ Tree and Hardscape to remove 5 large and overgrown Rosemary bushes. The team showed up early and took every precaution to not damage any irrigation, landscaping lighting or other plants. Juan came out to my place and gave me an estimate to remove 6 tall Palm Trees in my backyard; the estimate was very reasonable for the task at hand. Haven and his crew arrived on time, the very next day, and Haven walked me through step-by-step the process to remove the palm trees. They took extra precautions to protect the artificial turf to ensure no damage was done to it. The AZ Tree and Landscape crew showed up on time. There was enough workers to get both jobs( front and back yards)done in a timely manner. The crew didn’t mess around. Got in and got out. The tree in the backyard hasn’t had a good trim in several years. The team member was in the middle of this thing for 2 hours. When all said and done, the tree looked way different than when they started, and that’s a good thing. It looks much happier. The palm in front was skinned and fronds were removed. The crew working this tree had their hands full as it was a little windy. A big mess, but they got the job done. Both crews had a system that worked very well. Juan and crew transformed our gravel backyard into a great outdoor living space with pavers and artificial turf. He returned our call immediately and scheduled an onsite appointment for the next day. He listened carefully to everything we wanted, answered our questions and made suggestions for our space. We received a quote later the same day with an option to install within a week. Since we are only here for the winter months, that was great news for us as we would have plenty of time to enjoy the space. We scheduled the appointment. AZ Tree and Hardscape Co. has done three jobs for me so far, all to perfection! They replaced my old irrigation system and added water lines to my three citrus trees, which are surrounded by flagstone. They came with two plans, and they were able to tunnel under the flagstone, avoiding tearing up the flagstone. I was so delighted. They also tore up two sections of poorly laid flagstone by another landscaper that were trip hazards, and AZ Tree and Hardscape did an awesome job. They also laid 6 tons of stone in my front yard, as well as created a walkway from the front to the back yard using the old flagstone pieces from the tear up. My yard looks better than I ever imagined. I contracted with this service to remove an older mesquite tree. They came out promptly to assess the tree as I had concerns over whether to trim or remove it. Juan found structural issues that others missed and we scheduled the removal. The employees were on-time, professional and answered all my questions about the process. I am Facilities Manager with two properties in the Buckeye area. We have had AZ Tree & hardscape out for the 2nd year in a row to trim our 27 palm trees and both years they have done a fantastic job. They have done a great job of communicating ahead of time when the crew would come out so we could be prepared. They were knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and informative. They left my yard looking better than it was before they came. I had 3 trees and a bush removed and 7 bushes planted. I also had my 20 year old drip irrigation system changed for new throughout the whole yard. They took me around and showed me that the new irrigation was working for each plant as well instructed me on how the system worked. The men were very hard workers and very friendly. I normally don’t write very many reviews but I was so impressed by the work I just had to. I also thought they were fairly priced. Update I had AZ come back and install pavers in my back yard as well as a drain to pull water away from my patio. They did an amazing job. It turned out better than I imagined. They went above and beyond what I asked for. I couldn’t be more pleased. I referred them to my sister as well and they were extremely happy with the job they did for them as well. See more See less
